The Anomaly

Alternate between 2 characters as you uncover the mysterious presence of The Anomaly. 

This is a short and simple puzzle platformer where you must use the characters different skills in order to find your way out of this mysterious world.

Update:
Updated a very small section of one of the earlier levels because it was not designed exactly as I had intended.

The Process:

This was technically the 3rd game I worked on, and I wanted to depart from the more casual endless loop style of games I had made, and be able to inject some narrative into a more streamlined and focused game. 

I love narrative in games, it is one of my favorite things about video games, the endless possibilities for all sorts of narrative, and I wanted to be able to write and make something that used the player and the fact that it is a game being played, as part of its ongoing narrative.

The interaction you have while playing a video game is where games vary from other mediums and art forms, and is a concept and idea I want to explore further in other projects.
